I'm copying this wonderful idea from a friend.... I've enjoyed her blogs and wanted to do the same. Maybe you will enjoy mine - maybe you won't. Either way I've decided to create it and share it with you! :-)
The Schuck Party was discussing potential costumes in early Septemeber.... We all know that dressing up is the end of Halloween so we'll start from the beginning.
We started the season off at our friends Fall Bash were the kids ran around and played, painted pumpkins, and roasted marshmallows.
Then we went to Evans Orchard pumpkin patch, but with the INCREDIBLE playground we never actually made it to the pumpkin patch!!! The kids didn't seem to mind...
They led us through the corn maze and we didn't get lost!
They can't have ALL the fun! :-)
Our next tradition was carving pumpkins.. Who doesn't like that pumpkin guts?
Delaney just wanted to play with the guts...seriously. lol..lol..
Both of them were SUPER proud of their pumkins!
To the end of our Halloween season was of course trick or treat.
Here we are SUPER HERO & VILLANS!
For those of who don't know, we have Batman, Batgirl, my cheap attempt as CatWoman and the Joker.
Tracey, again, made children cry this Halloween night with her wicked costume!
Just freaky looking really ~ she alwasys does such a good job with her make-up ~ she's always scary!
We were outside at 6pm sharp! Obviously, the kids couldn't wait another MINUTE or they were going to explode, or I was, I'm not sure.
We were out for 1 hour and little legs were already tiring.. and BOTH pumpkins were over flowing with candy that I'll eat when they are at school and in bed!
(Guess I'll need to hit the gym more in November!)
Damn you Halloween for your sweet treats and extra pounds you give me, but I
look forward to next year all the same!
Hope you ALL had an awesome Halloween!

Of course we'll enjoy it! Awesome pics and SUPER awesome costumes! I was a mom this year, my usual costume. I know. I'm boring. I'm okay with that though. I miss the pumpkin patch! The one we went to here did not even come close to being as cool as the pumpkin patches there.
ReplyDeleteIt's Tracey: only one girl cried and she was a baby....I don't think that counts! I did it for the kids - they wanted the scary joker - what could I do?!
ReplyDeleteGreat job on the blog Lorrie! Love it!
Love your blog, keep it going. We couldn't wait any longer to go trick or treat and actually started five minutes early. Good that we have nice neighbors that just laughed about it. Tracey looks great. She would make me scream if I saw her trick or treating. lol
ReplyDeleteWe need an update! ;-) I hope you had a great Thanksgiving and are enjoying your Christmas day today! Enjoy Southern LIghts too!
