How many of you know what a lid switch is for your washing maching???
Well.... I didn't, but I do now! :-)
I called for an estimate on service and it was going to be $40 for the part, plus $75 for them to come out.
I decided to do it! That's right, ME.
I looked up the part number (thank you internet)
and watched a couple YouTube videos
(no way I could have done it without guidance!)
This is the inside of a washing machine
CraZy ugh? I thought it was!
Tracey asked me NOT to do this while she was home... and I didn't!
This is a picture of the BROKEN lid switch.
Where the lid switch is - it switches your machine - fill up - wash - spin - rinse, ect.. It's a necessary part!
The most difficult part was getting the casing BACK on.
It works and I don't need to click the "switch" with a screw driver!!!
I'm without a doubt SUPER PROUD of my capabilities!!
Who knew I could be so handy?
I will one day get to use a sledge hammer..may not be tomorrow,
but someday! lol..lol..
